Still some small hesitations when entering an area with a lot of dense graphics content, but nothing as bad as it was before. I'm sure Eiolynn hates me interfering, but I know from experience that she can turn into an absolute tank if I don't play her properly.Įdit: The 4Gb patch seems to be working Ok. She's not using a shield anymore except when there are bothersome archers around because with her strength she was too good at shield charging and knocking her opponents down or pinning them against walls. Eiolynn does have a blade skill of 65 now though so she can fight if she puts her mind to it and avoids getting knocked back. The Chimer sword is good because it's nowhere near overpowered so one hit kills are now impossible. The Vampire Spellsword had some nasty magic, but Eiolynn absorbs magic (without raising her own magicka levels) which is sort of essential to help keep all the desiccated bits of herself together in one piece so magic wasn't a factor in this fight. Only this time I think she was celebrating rather than trying to drown her sorrows. Eiolynn hasn't had a scrap like that for a long time and afterwards she did get a little drunk. No enchantments on anything and no poison.Ĭlash and fury! Wow.

She was also wearing some heavy armour while Eiolynn was wearing her usual light leather armour.

Eiolynn was using a lightweight Chimer two handed sword with a curved blade and the Vampire was armed with a curved shortsword and a steel shield. Unfortunately I'd forgotten to load FRAPS so couldn't take any screenshots, but Eiolynn got into a fight with a Vampire Spellsword and they were pretty much evenly matched so the fight continued for a good ten minutes or so without either antagonist managing to get any advantage. I have to say that the Character Speed Attack mod combined with Immersive Weapons makes a big difference to the fights Eiolynn now gets into.
